Happy Birthday, John Milton

Poet John Milton, author of the epic Paradise Lost, is 400 years old today, December 9—perhaps a little ironically, given Milton’s “sect of one” Calvinism, on the feast day of Marian visionary, St. Juan Diego. Here are a couple of articles and news items in the great poet’s honor:
