Ellen Gable Hrkach

Ellen Gable Hrkach is a wife and mother living in Pakenham, Ontario Canada. She is the author of two novels (Emily’s Hope, HM winner in the IPPY book awards 2006; CWG Seal of Approval 2009) and In Name Only (CWG Seal of Approval 2009). Ellen is a columnist for Amazing Catechists.com and her numerous articles have appeared in the Nazareth Journal, Family Foundations, Ecclesia Magazine, Restoration and many websites. She and her husband, James, are the creators of the Family Life cartoon, which appears in Family Foundations magazine and on the Amazing Catechists website,

Ellen and her husband are also certified teachers of Natural Family Planning for the Couple to Couple League and have been working in Catholic Marriage Preparation for the past 26 years.
